West African pygmy goats are a small, hardy breed of goat that is covered in brown, black, white or golden hair and measure up to 50cm high. (Please note, our pygmy goats move out of their pens from 5pm BST and 4pm GMT into fields where they graze overnight).
West African pygmy goats are from dry grasslands in Cameroon, West Africa.
West African pygmy goats live in herds and should always be kept in groups. They have up to four young, every nine to twelve months, after a five month gestation (pregnancy).
