Coatis
Nasua nasua
Coatis have a red brown body, a long nose and a stripy tail. They are members of the racoon family.
Coatis are found in forest, wetland and arid areas of south-west USA, Central America and South America.
Female coatis usually live in groups with their offspring, whilst males are usually solitary. Coatis usually have between two and seven young at a time
Conservation Status: Least Concern
