Boa constrictors can grow to up four metres long.
Boa constrictors are found in a variety of habitats in South and Central America
Snakes generally live on their own but in captivity can be kept with similar sized snakes. Boa constrictors give birth to live young; they can look after themselves as soon as they are born.
