NEW for 2017 - Go Safari!
Drusillas Park is delighted to be opening a brand new attraction in 2017 known as Go Safari!
This totally wild new area is expected to open by May 2017 and will combine a African theme.
It will cause quite a fu'roar amongst young lionhearted explorers, with three exciting children's rides; the Hippopotobus, Flying Cheetahs and the Safari Express train.
Managing Director Laurence Smith commented: “The plans are well underway. We are totally committed to the project and contracts with the rides manufacturers.”
“This is a million pound investment for us – our biggest undertaking ever – and we think that once it’s in place it will be a great success and very popular."
The Safari Express train is expected to leave Mungo's Central Station (formerly Tidmouth Hault) for the first time on Friday 31st March 2017 and takes over from Thomas the Tank Engine, who will retire from service on 31st December 2016 after 10 years at the Park.
