Half Term is Double the Fun at Drusillas Park
Keep your little monkeys entertained with a trip to Drusillas Park, East Sussex this February half term. With over 100 fascinating animal species, oodles of exciting play equipment and a fun-filled dairy of events there’s plenty to occupy the youngest to the oldest visitor.
Kicking off this year’s star studded line-up, The Fat Controller will be causing a locomotion on Tuesday 17th February when he alights at the Park to take control of the efficient running of the Thomas & Friends™ railway. Make tracks to Tidmouth Hault and enjoy photo opportunities with Sir Topham Hatt himself.
Hello Kitty will also return to her home at Drusillas on Wednesday 18th February; the first of twenty planned visits to the Park in 2015. Throughout the day, she will greet fans in her beautifully themed bedroom and pose for souvenir pictures. There will also be the opportunity to visit the Hello Kitty Parlour where there’s fabulous face painting, temporary tattoos and a range of hair accessories all available to purchase.
Plus there is all the usual animal magic too. The award-winning zoo, which is already home to hundreds of fascinating and entertaining creatures, is currently celebrating the arrival of a baby saki monkey, Goeldi’s monkey and a beautiful lar gibbon named Pudsey. Animal lovers will also be able to see some new faces later this year, with the introduction of spectacled owls, scarlet ibis and Bactrian camels.
With all this, a Thomas & Friends™ train ride that runs daily and Hello Kitty Secret Garden, Drusillas Park is doing nothing by halves in 2015.
