Half Term Happy
As the kids break up for May half term, get ready to soak up the fun at award winning Drusillas Park in East Sussex; there’s plenty to entertain the youngest to the oldest visitor.
This year the family attraction has opened a brand new Events Arena, with many live performances expected over the year including Fireman Sam’s Pontypandy Welcome Show on Tuesday 5th June. For the first time at Drusillas, the hero next door will introduce the audience to life in Pontypandy during a high energy performance. Jam-packed with opportunities for audience participation the show is guaranteed to keep visitors ablaze with excitement. There will also be the chance to meet Fireman Sam himself at various intervals throughout the day.
Plus there’s hundreds of fascinating and entertaining creatures at the zoo including some baby bundles of fur and feathers. Amongst the new arrivals is Adaeze a black and white colobus monkey, Tambo a Sulawesi black crested macaque and a funky lar gibbon. There are also 5 Humboldt penguin chicks; a vulnerable species found just off the coast of Chile and Peru in the wild.
The state-of-the-art attraction, Go Wild! combines a multi-levelled labyrinth of adventure play and Go Bananas! is paradise for under 6s. Plus don’t miss, Eden’s Eye, an interactive maze which takes visitors on an adventure style quest or the Thomas & Friends™ train which runs daily.
