Bumper Bank Holiday
Make tracks to Drusillas Park over the Bank holiday weekend and enjoy all the exciting animals, attractions and events on offer at the award winning zoo in East Sussex.
On Bank Holiday Monday 7th May, The Fat Controller will be causing a locomotion when he alights at the Park to oversee the smooth running of the Thomas & Friends™ railway. Dressed to impress with his top hat and waistcoat, Sir Topham will be Right on Time making appearances throughout the day and ensuring all the engines are being Really Useful. He will also be meeting visitors and posing for photos.
The zoo which is already home to hundreds of fascinating and entertaining creatures is also celebrating the arrival of some baby bundles of fur and feathers. Amongst the new arrivals is Adaeze a black and white colobus monkey, Tambo a Sulawesi black crested macaque and a funky lar gibbon. There are also 5 Humboldt penguin chicks; a vulnerable species found off the coast of Chile and Peru in the wild.
However animals are only half the fun. The state-of-the-art attraction, Go Wild! combines a multi-levelled labyrinth of adventure play and Go Bananas! is paradise for under 6s. Plus don’t miss, Eden’s Eye, an interactive maze which takes visitors on an adventure style quest through a host of different worlds.
With all this and much much more, it’s set to be a bumper Bank Holiday at Drusillas Park!
