Love Your Zoo Week!

Calling all kids! As part of Love Your Zoo Week, we are offering the chance to win an adoption of your favourite animal at Drusillas!

Love Your Zoo week is an annual nationwide event to promote the important work zoos do with regards to conservation, education and research. This year Love Your Zoo Week spans from Saturday 29th May to Sunday 6th June 2021.  

We’re asking kids of all ages to send us a drawing of their favourite animal at Drusillas! We will feature a selection of the best drawings in our foyer for the entire of Love Your Zoo Week and the winner will receive an adoption of the animal they drew!

How to enter:

• All entries should be on A4 paper.
• Please only submit one entry per child.
• Please write: ‘I love my zoo!’ in the subject line of your email.
• Please write the full name of the child and their age in the body of your email.
• You can draw any animal you like but it must be a Drusillas animal!
• Please either scan or take a clear photo of the drawing and send it to [email protected] we need a clear photo for the drawing so we can print it off and display it.
• The deadline for entries is Friday 28th May 2021 at 10am. 

Terms and Conditions: 

• The winner will be chosen by a panel of Drusillas judges on the basis of creativity.
• There is no cash alternative.
• The adoption will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
• This prize is for an animal adoption only, tickets will not be issued.
• A selection of the best drawings will be displayed in the zoo foyer for the duration of Love Your Zoo Week (last day 6^th June 2021). We cannot guarantee all drawings will be displayed, only a selection of the best drawings will be displayed along with the winning image.
• This competition is open to anyone under the age of 18.
• The adoption winner will be notified by Tuesday 1^st June 2021.
• Only one winner will be selected. 

*If you are entering for yourself and are under the age of 18 please ask your parent or guardian to email in for you.
